Triggered is a powerful project, featuring a collection of stories from women with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Still in production, this project will educate and raise awareness and empathy regarding the recognition and understanding of PTSD in three phases.
Phase 1 (In production) A multi-media art installation featuring short animated stories from 10 women with PTSD. Each 2 minute story tells what triggers the women, what happens when they’re triggered, the type of treatment that’s helped them or how they’ve learned to cope.
(All women who were interviewed about their PTSD remain anonymous and are portrayed by actresses.)
Phase 2 (Planned): The goal is to use footage from the installation to create a proof of concept mini doc short to submit to Cannes and other festivals to raise funding for a feature length documentary.
Phase 3 (Planned): A feature length documentary about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
