Music by
Each animation has an ambient custom score provided by Braxton Ballew and Sarah Black.

Braxton Ballew and Sarah Black have been composing and performing music together as Valentine Wolfe since 2006. Currently based in Greenville, SC, their music has been heard as part of the Warehouse Theater’s production of Angels in America, The Tempest, Twelfth Night and The Merchant of Venice. They were also guest artists at Furman University, composing the score for The Winter’s Tale and leading a series of multi-disciplinary arts seminars. They have performed humanities-based programs for the Greenville and Anderson County LIbrary Systems (featuring music based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe, Mary Shelley, and Emily Dickinson). They have enjoyed a close collaboration with Sterling School for the Gifted (Greenville Public School), performing as part of the school’s “Poe-tober” celebrations, and most recently, leading a workshop based on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. This collaboration resulted in students sharing the stage with the band, sharing their original spoken word creations during a school-wide performance.
Both hold graduate degrees from the University of Georgia, where they studied electronic composition with Dr. Leonard V. Ball. In addition, Sarah completed her Masters degree in composition studying with Dr. Adrian P. Childs. She has also studied voice with Lisa Barksdale from Furman University. Braxton holds a DMA in Double Bass Performance and has studied with Milton Masciadri, Albert Laszlo, and James Barket. He is a member of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and for 14 years, served as the orchestra’s Education Director.
